From the European Institute of Design to London, the success story of a visionary designer
Francesco Meda is an extraordinary designer who combines artistic talent and design craftsmanship in a very personal and unique way. Born in Milan in 1984, Meda achieved perfection in his craft by training at the European Institute of Design in Milan and international experience at the most famous design studios in London. His 'Orme Cinesi' collection was a great success and his creation, the acoustic panel 'Flap', won the prestigious 'Compasso d'Oro' award. Today, with his self-produced LED lamps, tables, benches, 3D printed jewellery and much more, Francesco Meda is writing an exciting chapter in the history of contemporary design. His ability to combine cutting-edge technology and traditional materials makes him one of the most innovative and promising designers on the contemporary scene.
