Immersed in the picturesque beauty of Lake Como, Giulio Peverelli, a young craftsman, decided to give life to a dream: to create a craft workshop to produce objects for the home. His entrepreneurial adventure was supported by his wife Caterina and his brother Federico, but above all by their passion for their work and deep gratitude to the local community.

At that time, Italy was facing one of the most difficult crises in its history, but Giulio Peverelli did not give up. In fact, with a courage that distinguished him, he decided to get to work and offer his help to the locals. And so, amidst the mountains and forests, he began to produce unique objects, from fixtures to kitchen utensils and furniture, with care and attention to detail, with the aim of creating products that would last and be useful to local families.
The craftsmanship of Giulio and his family was not just a business, but a way to contribute to the growth and well-being of the community. Giulio Peverelli passed on his passion for the beauty and utility of handcrafted objects, creating a welcoming and familiar environment for anyone who entered their workshop. 

Giulio Peverelli's dream was becoming bigger and bigger, along with the growth of his family and his business. And so, with courage and determination, he decided to move his workshop to Bulgarograsso, a village near Lake Como.

In this new location, Giulio was finally able to have a larger space suitable for the needs of his growing business, which included a warehouse and work area. But what made him happiest was that he could keep his family together, thanks to the presence of flats adjacent to the workshop.

In this way, Giulio's passion for his craftsmanship merged perfectly with his love for his family, creating an environment where work and life came together in perfect harmony. His business had become not just a job, but a true home, a place where his talent and dedication could be fully expressed.

The Peverelli family's life was marked by war: when the Second World War broke out, Giulio and his brother Federico were called up for military service and their craft business came to an abrupt halt. All seemed lost, but Giulio did not give up.

After the end of the war, the return to normality was difficult, but Giulio did not lose heart. Left alone after his brother Federico decided to start a new life in Canada, Giulio had the intuition to turn his craft business into a distribution warehouse.

He started out in the distribution of basic necessities, and then specialised in the world of furniture. With courage and passion, Giulio officially founded the Peverelli company in 1949.
It was not easy, but Giulio's tenacity and determination carried him through the difficulties. At that moment, Giulio Peverelli's life had taken another big step forward, proving that even difficulties can be overcome with determination, passion and the will to never give up

In the 1950s, Giulio's eldest son Luigi Peverelli joined the business. Growing up in his father's workshop among wooden furniture and craftsmanship, Luigi had a passion for design and the world of furniture that he could not hide. It was the time when Italian design was laying the foundations for its international success, and Luigi decided to follow in its footsteps. He attended a drawing school in Como and, immersed in a context of growth and flourishing initiative, took his first steps in the furniture industry. He established important relationships with many of the future protagonists of Italian furniture design, appreciating the beauty of form and functionality of furniture. Luigi was driven by an unstoppable passion. So, with a heart full of enthusiasm and drive, Luigi opened his first small design shop, the first in the area, in a strategic location. It was a brave gamble, but Luigi was not afraid to take risks and put himself on the line.

With determination and passion, Luigi Peverelli, Giulio's eldest son, dragged his family towards the horizon of innovation and modernity. Together with his wife Giuseppina, Luigi put all his entrepreneurial skills and artistic sensitivity into creating a new model of shop, where the purchase of a piece of furniture becomes a unique and unforgettable experience. Customer care and attention to detail led them to immediate success and to the opening of a new shop in the centre of Como, where the beauty of the furniture blends with the advice of architects and designers to create unique and customised environments.

The history of Peverelli continues to be a tale of growth, but also of a strong family bond that has been handed down from generation to generation. The entry into the business of Giulio, the founder's grandson and namesake, marks the handover between generations of the same family, reinforcing the Peverelli family's commitment and determination to affirm its ideals of excellence and quality. It is thanks to the strong identity and values shared by each member of the Peverelli family that the company has been able to grow, adapt to market changes

The Peverelli family's entrepreneurship and passion for design led to the company's development. After the handover from father to son, the third generation took over, and under the leadership of Giulio and Simonetta, the company acquired new premises in Como, which were divided into three main areas. But fate continues to present challenges: the death of Luigi in 1999, brings with it an important reflection on the fragility of life and the need to think about the continuity of the company, not only as a business but above all as a place of values and ideals.
Thereafter, a new period began, marked by modernity and entry into new markets. 

The new millennium opens with great challenges in the world, but for Peverelli it represents a crucial turning point. Thanks to the tenacity of Giulio and Simonetta, the company implements an ambitious strategy, which proves to be successful, leading Peverelli to establish itself as a reference company in the world of high-end furniture, always looking ahead, ready to face the challenges and evolutions of the market. Peverelli continued on its path in the following years, expanding its presence internationally. Genesi represents the efficient and complete management of high-end projects with the aid of the most innovative technologies. Thanks to the development of the Genesi project, Peverelli has been able to collaborate with multiple professionals and designers of great depth, coordinating the different phases of the project realisation and offering an end-to-end service of the highest level. This new activity has enabled the company to further consolidate its presence on the market and lay the foundations to become a reference for the most exclusive residences in the world

In June 2018, Peverelli took an important step into the future by opening its first shop abroad. The choice of Lugano in Switzerland was a strategic one, positioning the brand in a prominent position between Como and Europe. The opening of the store brought with it a wide selection of the most exclusive Italian design products, but above all it brought with it the Peverelli brand and excellence, synonymous with expertise and professional advice. Not only did it satisfy the international and demanding clientele, but it also represented an important milestone in the company's history, a step towards the future and a further affirmation of its success
