D.150.5

The D.150.5 chaise longue is an exceptional piece of furniture, designed by renowned Milanese architect Gio Ponti for the cruise ship Andrea Doria in 1952. Reconstructed in collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives and the architect's heirs by Molteni&C, this chaise longue celebrates Ponti's incredible creativity and his avant-garde vision of environments. Characterised by a continuous line that joins the different parts of the armchair and an angle between the seat and back inspired by the Distex model of '53, the chaise longue is made of precious teak, exalting the art of high quality cabinet making. A tribute to aesthetics and functionality, perfectly representing Ponti's legacy in design furniture.
