The Montecatini D.235.1 chair, originally designed in 1935 by Gio Ponti for the Montecatini building in Milan, represents a perfect synthesis of functionality and aesthetics. Characterised by a clean, linear design, the chair was conceived to blend perfectly with the building's modernist architecture. Made entirely of aluminium, the chair combines lightness and strength, making it an icon of Italian design.
