The D.153.1 armchair is a masterpiece of Gio Ponti's design, created in 1953 for his home in Via Dezza, Milan. With a satin-finished brass frame, it offers upholstery options in two-tone leather or in Rubelli's 'Punteggiato' fabric, a modern design by Ponti from 1934 that revisits the traditional velvet with stamps in colour gradations.
